Photography ClassNew Photography Class starting Thursday, July 8th from 1 – 2:30 p.m. This is a popular 5 week course taught by professional photographers Jill Flyer and Luis Mancera McCormick, co-owners of Galeria Quattro in Ajijic. Their work is shown here at Lakeside and in other areas of Mexico, as well as in the United States.
Material covered in the classes includes:
Students are given specific assignments "in the field" and there are always two instructors to give advice and hands-on instruction. Later, each person's work is projected on a screen, so that students can all learn from each other and the goal is to provide constructive commentary to each person's work. It´s a fun class and a fun way to learn photography.
Classes are taught at the Cultural Center in Chapala (Old Train Station), starting Thursday, July 8th from 1 – 2:30 p.m. The cost is $500 pesos for the entire 5 week session. Classes are taught in Spanish and in English. Minimum of 5 students is necessary to hold a class.
